The science and technology are associated with Pharmacy has progressed enormously and significant advances in understanding of diseases have necessitated the need to optimize the drug therapy. The Pharmaceutical science includes emerging concepts, new theories and their practical applications in development and production of Pharmaceutical Dosage form referred as Drug Delivery Systems.

          The department works with the undergraduate students in development and formulation of newer formulation. Formulations coming under NDDS, TDDS, nanoparticals, microspheres etc were formulated including the convention tablet compression, coating and queries on troubleshooting involved during pilot plant scale-up and technology transfer in pharma industries were explored by the faculty members.

         The Department has experienced and highly qualified faculty members having national and international publications are actively involved in getting research projects from funding government organizations such as AICTE, UGC and CSIR.
